How to identify a legitimate opportunity
Checks to run before you share personal documents.
A real opportunity names an organisation you can find independently. Search the organisation, open its official site, and see whether the same role or scholarship is there.
Look for a source URL and a date it was last checked. On JobsandSchools, “Verified” means someone recorded a check against that source. It does not mean JobsandSchools is the employer, and it does not mean a paid promotion.
Be careful with salaries, visa promises and “guaranteed” offers. If those claims are not on the official page, treat them as unverified.
Never send a passport scan, bank PIN or payment to a personal account to “secure” a place. Official applications do not work that way.
If a listing on this site looks wrong, report it. Moderators can unpublish it. Payment for a featured placement would not make a false listing true.
