Overview

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission said it would ringfence funding for applicants from small island developing states in 2026 and 2027. The September 2026 notice gives the next round’s open and close times and the country list.

Eligibility

Eligible countries named in the notice: Belize, Dominica, Fiji, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Kiribati, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. The notice spells Montserrat as Monserrat; confirm the official list before you apply.
